VISIT CADES COVE

Be sure to plan your visit in advance – check the National Park Service website at

Along the Cades Cove Loop road has so many things to see including the Cades Cove Visitor Center, John Oliver’s Cabin, the Abrams Fall Hiking Trail, Gregory’s Bald, The Historic Cable Mill, and sometimes you might even see some wildlife like deer and bears.

From the cabin, take Line Springs Road and Wear Cove Gap Roar for 3 miles to the Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area. Beside the babbling brook, Metcalf Bottoms is a great place to picnic, splash around, and take in the mountain views. This destination is a great place for everyone to enjoy and is perfect for the whole family.
